On the Lille campus
The search for accommodation is an important step in the student's life. It is advisable to start looking as soon as possible.
The city of Lille welcomes many students every year, and the property market is inevitably affected.
The EDHEC campus is located on the outskirts of Lille in a leafy 8.5 hectare park, 25 minutes by metro from Lille city centre. There are a large number of housing solutions, ranging from student residences to private owners.
STUDENT RESIDENCES
The campus has its own student residence with furnished studios and 8-room halls of residence for a total of 300 places.
The residence is reserved primarily for international students, minors or students with disabilities, but any EDHEC student can apply for on-campus accommodation.
The Twenty campus Croix residence is managed by SERGIC Résidences Services. Book your accommodation on twentycampus.com by submitting your full application. Twenty campus will acknowledge receipt of your request.
Your reservation is validated according to availability and subject to your eligibility to the EDHEC group. Any incomplete application will not be examined.
Students have access to two residences located near the campus: the Twenty campus Roubaix residence and the Studéa residence Roubaix Parc Barbieux..

INDIVIDUAL HOUSING
If life in a student residence does not suit you, you can choose individual or shared accommodation.
To do this, you can use our online accommodation platform. In partnership with IMMOJEUNE, you will be able to access dozens of exclusive offers: studios, apartments, flat shares, rooms in private homes, etc.
The platform has been entirely designed for students, it allows you to quickly find offers located in the immediate vicinity of your campus and it promotes communication between you and the owners.

HOUSING SUBSIDIES
Most student tenants are eligible for benefits from the French Family Benefit Office (CAF) to cover part of their rent costs. However, these allowances are not student grants: they are available to anyone on a low income. In order to receive this aid, you must:
- Be a signatory to a rental contract (the lease cannot be signed by your parents)
- Occupy the dwelling as a principal residence (rent receipts must be in the name of the recipient) and have an income below the thresholds.
- There are two types of housing aid paid by the CAF: the social housing allowance (ALS) and the personal housing allowance (APL). However, these two types of aid cannot be combined.
The aids
The APL (personal housing allowance) is a financial aid intended to reduce the amount of your rent (or your housing expense if you live in a home). It is paid on the basis of your housing situation, regardless of your family situation: single, married, with or without dependents. The conditions of allocation differ depending on whether you are renting or living in a home.
The social housing allowance (ALS) is a financial aid intended to reduce the amount of your rent (or your housing expenses if you live in a home). It is paid if you do not qualify for either the APL (personal housing allowance) or the ALF (family housing allowance). The conditions of allocation differ depending on whether you are renting or living in a home.
