EDHEC: AACSB accreditation renewed for 6 years

AACSB has just renewed EDHEC's accreditation for a maximum period of 6 years. Based on the thirteen quality standards set by the association, which brings together professionals in higher management education at the highest level, this accreditation highlights the school's commitment and excellence. Accredited since 2004, EDHEC Business School is one of only 1% of the world's business schools to have been awarded the triple crown of EQUIS, AMBA and AACSB.

Following the audit carried out in June 2024 by a trio of 3 deans from prestigious European institutions, AACSB reaccredited EDHEC, praising in particular three key points in the school's strategy:

1.    The satisfaction of partner companies, which recognise the professional qualities of the students, the relevance of the training programmes and the preparation for professional integration by the careers teams;
2.    The school's commitment to diversity and inclusion, the promotion of equal opportunities and support for students, particularly through its scholarship policy, disability policy and commitment to the fight against gender-based and sexual violence;
3.    The approach to research, which aims to have an impact beyond the purely academic sphere, by providing solutions to economic and social problems. The model of transforming research into intellectual property, generating income for the school, is also praised. Lastly, the growing publication of high-impact research was highlighted and its continuation encouraged.
The committee members highlighted the high level of commitment shown by all stakeholders to EDHEC, in particular the school's professors and administrative teams. The internationalisation of programmes and practices was highlighted, as well as the level of satisfaction of students and alumni with both the school's mission and their own experience of it. All the points highlighted at the time of the renewal of this accreditation (research with impact, social commitment of the entire community, support for major transitions and innovation) are part of the areas of work that the school has set itself the task of carrying out as part of its new Générations 2050 strategic plan, which covers the period 2024-28.
