EDHEC Executive MBA welcomes new cohort

At the beginning of October, EDHEC Business School proudly welcomed the newest cohort of Executive MBA (EMBA) participants with an inspirational Integration Week at EDHEC’s stunning campus in Lille.

The Integration Week saw 58 participants from the Paris and Lille cohorts begin their transformational journey. With an intense schedule for the week setting the tone for the path ahead, the professionals, executives, and entrepreneurs who comprise the 58 members of the Class of October 2024 began their journeys  to redefine their respective career trajectories.

The first 5 days were designed for participants to spark meaningful connections, explore the curriculum, and settle into the landscape of an EMBA programme recently recognised once again by the Financial Times for both its attention to alumni satisfaction and alumni network.

The class, 40% of whom work outside their home country, was given an introduction into the complexities of strategic leadership and global business dynamics as well as subjects as varied as financial accounting, practical resilience, and a qi-gong session.

A collaborative environment emerged through interactive sessions and a networking event with EMBA staff, Programme Director Véronique Carresse and Academic Director Joëlle Vanhamme, and alumni building a strong foundation for success on the EMBA journey.

Building Broader Networks

Welcoming the new participants, Véronique Carresse, EDHEC EMBA programme director, highlighted the dynamism of the Executive MBA October 2024 class:

“With 58 professionals from 19 countries and 41% women, this cohort brings an impressive 17-year average of cross-sector experience in fields like healthcare, technology, and energy. We are eager to see new leadership, ideas, and collaboration thrive. This new group enriches our strong alumni network, building on a foundation of innovation and collaboration. We anticipate an exciting exchange of insights, connections, and mentorship among new and past EMBA members.”

EMBA Aspirations

With its myriad professions, backgrounds, and aspirations, the newest EDHEC EMBA cohort forms a diverse and dynamic group. Indeed, they come from vast, sometimes disparate professional paths: 19% work in healthcare, 16% in tech/innovation, 7% work in energy, and so on. And yet they are all united by a shared mission of sharpening their leadership vision, accelerate their careers, and to broaden their professional network.

As such, the cohort exemplifies EDHEC’s commitment to driving innovation, creating more inclusive workplaces, and making a conclusive impact. Together, they pursue excellence and growth as a community.
