Why did you choose France for your Master’s degree?

My decision to pursue a master’s in France was shaped by my Erasmus experience in Lille. I immediately connected with the city’s vibrant culture, stunning architecture, and lively atmosphere. Lille’s location, close to other European countries, made it ideal for travel and staying connected with my family in Spain. It struck the perfect balance—offering cultural richness, accessibility, and an exceptional educational environment.

What made EDHEC Business School stand out?

From the start, EDHEC stood out for its strong reputation and glowing feedback from students. The MSc in Data Analytics & AI perfectly matched my interests, offering a blend of technical and business perspectives. I’m passionate about AI and data, and EDHEC’s focus on real-world applications in business really appealed to me.
Another major factor was EDHEC's renowned Career Centre. My goal was to enhance my career prospects, and the career support here is outstanding. The workshops, industry events, and professional networking opportunities provide a direct path to career advancement.

How did the International Student Office (ISO) support your transition?

The ISO and international admissions team were key to making my transition smooth. Their proactive and friendly approach made moving to France feel less daunting. From detailed guidance to organising integration sessions, they ensured we felt welcome. Meeting other international students early on helped me feel at home quickly.

Why did you choose the MSc in Data Analytics & Artificial Intelligence?

Given my background in both engineering and business, I wanted a programme that combined the two without getting too technical. EDHEC’s MSc in Data Analytics & AI struck that balance. It offered practical business applications of AI and data analytics, allowing me to see the direct impact of these technologies on real-world scenarios. The curriculum was well-aligned with my career goals, which sealed the deal.

How does EDHEC’s hands-on learning approach benefit students?

One of the things I appreciate most at EDHEC is the hands-on learning. The courses are filled with practical projects that bring the material to life. We are constantly applying what we learn to real-world problems, which makes the concepts more engaging and directly relevant to our future careers.

What extracurricular activities have you been involved in?

I’ve participated in several rewarding extracurricular activities. One of the most memorable was the Sustainable Challenge during the integration session- our team even made it to the finals! Additionally, I’m president of the Aspiring Product Managers (APM) Club. We’re currently turning it into an independent student association, and it’s been an incredible experience connecting with like-minded individuals and developing leadership skills.

How would you describe student life and community at EDHEC?

EDHEC’s student community is incredibly diverse and vibrant. The school does an amazing job of celebrating different cultures, which makes everyone feel included. For example, we celebrated Diwali, learning about Indian culture, music, and dances. Events like these make the campus feel like a second home, even though most of us are far from our actual homes.

How has EDHEC’s Career Centre and Alumni Network supported your professional development?

Even early in my studies, the Career Centre has been an invaluable resource. They’ve helped me refine my CV and career plans, and I’ve attended several industry workshops that provided insights into different fields. The alumni network has also been a fantastic resource, helping me connect with mentors and explore potential collaborations for the APM Club.

What advice would you give to prospective students considering EDHEC?

As a student ambassador, I often tell prospective students: don’t hesitate to ask questions. Whether it’s the admissions team, ISO, or current students, we’re all here to help. Once you’re at EDHEC, take full advantage of the opportunities—whether it's joining student associations or attending career events. The programme moves quickly, and every moment counts.

How has your experience at EDHEC shaped your personal and professional growth?

My time at EDHEC has been transformative. The MSc in Data Analytics & AI has deepened my knowledge of a fast-evolving field while equipping me with the skills to apply this knowledge in real-world settings. The supportive community and resources at EDHEC have prepared me to take on new challenges and build a career in the dynamic world of data and AI.
