Hayyan Alia-Thorey, PhD, is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting. He teaches courses in both managerial and financial accounting and is engaged in business case writing and gamification. Prior to joining EDHEC in 2024, Hayyan Alia-Thorey was an Associate Professor at Lille Catholic University for four years. Before that, he held the same position at Dijon Burgundy School of Business from 2015 to 2020. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Franche-Comté and an Advanced Master's in Microfinance from Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB).
